It was a crisp Halloween Day in 2003 when the ME Village People and their co-producer and rodent friend, Mickey, took to the streets of the University of Minnesota Campus and kindly displayed their rendition of the YMCA for all that would take the time to watch. The ME Village People took to the steps of Morrill Hall in support of the Union Strikers and gave them something to cheer about. They came back to the mall and gave an encore performance for the visiting student groups. Next they made their way to the Graduate School where they received a standing ovation! Their U of MN Tour ended with a visit to the IT Deans Office. The ME Village People owe a debt of gratitude to our Executive Producer, Ms. Pucel as well as her Co-producer, the Mouse, without whom this would not have been possible. Without the constructive hip-shaking-finger-pointing criticism, the demand for the Boom, Boom, Boom in the four-count cadence, and the hours and hours of rehearsal, the ME Village People would have been just your average ME Halloween fool. Thank you! The ME Village People would also thank those who participated in the annual ME Halloween 2003 festivities. Thank you to our sweet nun, krazy kitty, dork duo, the bug, and all those who were such a kind audience.
