Hi! I'm Kenai (the Siberian Husky)

You are visitor:

Kenai is a Siberian Husky. He was born on November 20, 1995 near Bemidji, MN. His grandfather, Chico, was my wife's dog when she was growing up.

He's a bit on the large size for a Siberian Husky. He's about 70 lbs and very tall.

In the picture to the right, Kenai is giving a sled ride. I think he likes to pull ... :-)

Kenai's favorite things to do are:

  • Wrassle all day with his best friend Rex. Rex occassionally will make the 5 block trek to our house all by himself.
  • Dig kleenex out of the trash and eat/shred them.
  • Tear back and forth along the fence chasing our neighbor's St. Bernard. He is working on a deep trench. The grass is long gone.
  • Insist on going out, immediately insist on coming back in. Insist on going out, immediately insist on coming back in. Repeat all night.
  • Take Curt skijoring, or pull a tire depending on the weather.
  • Take Curt jogging if the weather is too warm.
  • Rip pieces off of the house and chew them up in the back yard. Kenai's latest masterpiece was to rip our telephone hookup box off the back of the house. Bad dog.
  • Dig random holes in the back yard -- faster than I can fill them in.
