On with the normal stuff. I'm currently a graduate student at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. I am in the Mechanical Engineering department working on my master's degree. I've been a TA for a few courses at the U including ME 1010/1012, ME 3201 (the kids love that class!!!), ME 3205, ME 5260, and ME 8250. My area of interest is biomechanics and my research involves device design for reconstructive knee surgery. Hope you've eaten.

My undergraduate degrees in Chemical Engineering and German were earned at the University of Kansas. I also spent a school year abroad at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. It was a fantastic experience, both culturally and educationally.

As some people know, I dig breakfast a lot. Literally, I'm outside scrounging for grubs like a bear when the spring thaw comes. All kidding ignored, I'm known to eat cereal any time of the day and lots of it. I can make a pretty mean omelette and french toast if need be, too. Click here for a great pancake recipe my mom's uncle got from a greasy spoon many years ago.

While on the topic, I present to you a list of some of my favorite locales for breaking a fast.

Here are some links I'm known to follow every now and then:

There may always be more stuff coming. Depends on my mood and spare time (so, basically, my mood). Ciao.

You're visitor number to my page since 9/29/97.
