General Info
I am a mechanical engineering graduate student at the University of
Minnesota.
I am at the Advanced
Microsystems Laboratory. Contact me at this email addres: grem@me.umn.edu.
Research
My research involves the process of using computer vision to extract
the
force field applied to an elastic object by tracking its structural
deformations.
Currently we are able to track and extract force information from
general
2D linearly elastic objects. Our current focus is to extend this to
three
dimensional objects and to nonlinear materials.
