Welcome

Welcome to my home page. I am a graduate of the Power and Propulsion Division of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Minnesota. Professors Kittelson and Zachariah are my Ph.D. advisers. Professor Kulacki is my M.S. adviser. I have a wide variety of technical interests. Some of which include: Homogeneous Charge Compression Ignition (HCCI) combustion, free-piston engines, transport in porous media, linear electromagnetic machines, and explosive welding. For more information about my micro-combustion work, please visit my Micro-Engine web site (work ceased in 2002). I was a Post-Doc and staff member at Sandia National Laboratories, California. I am presently a Physicist at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. I may be contacted by e-mail.
