I was born and brought up in Bombay, India. My hubby, Devashish
Shrivastava, is a post doc at the Center of Magnetic Resonance Research, Univ of Minnesota, working
on MR safety and MR thermometry. My younger brother, Milan, is pursuing a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at
Purdue University and is working on electronic /mechanical systems for cooling space shuttles
. My parents, in-laws and the other younger brother, Rachit live in India.
My parents and parents-in-law are Medical Doctors and Rachit is an Electronic Engineer working at Mahindra Tech, India.
My sister-in-law, Rangoli, is working in a software company in Delhi. My hobbies are hiking,
camping, painting, poetry,
mehendi, chess, crossword, music, badminton, swimming, and lately "Ice Skating".
